The Directors Guild of Cameroon is a labour and social organization which has as aim to uphold the interest of directors film directors, TV Directors, creative and arts Directors Theater Directors and 1st,2nd/3rd Assistant Directors. The Guild shall act as an autonomous body but relate with other legalized Guilds in the industry in conformity with the rules and regulations governing the Guilds as well as with the l was enforced in Cameroon.

Registration formalities
- Proof of atleast three works of art as Movie Director
- Atleast 3 years of active experience in the field /motion picture /theatre

- An application form
- Certified true copy of national id card
- 02 passport size photograph
- Filmography or show reel
- Motivation letter
- A 5000xaf application fee
- An applicant’s membership fee of 25000frscfa

Form of Government
The DGC will be governed by an elected national executive of directors made up of actively working DGC members
Electoral process:
Elections shall be won by an absolute majority rule
Term of office:
Each term of office is 3 years renewable

Frequency of Branch / National meetings
- General assembly meetings shall be held once in a year in the month of April
- Committee meetings shall be held quarterly
- Extra ordinary meetings shall be held when the need arises
