CFI Multipurpose Hall Project
This is a major multimillion project which constitutes the construction of CFI Multipurpose Halls starting with the CFI Headquarters building, still under consideration at Mile 17 Buea, Southwest Region. This is to be followed by the construction of a CFI Multipurpose Hall in every region of the country. This will facilitate film activities by stakeholders and boost the growth of the industry.
The three-story structure comprises of the following:
- A state-of-the-art post-production studio with 2 or 3 complete suites!
- A state-of-the-art screening / Performance Hall,
- A Multimedia Centre with Library, Video Library and Archive.
- A conference room,
- A ballroom.
- A public secretariat
The CFI multipurpose hall is primarily intended for CFI activities, but most of the spaces (except office spaces) are open for rentals from the public. The CFI intends to raise funds for this project through its partners, and its upcoming fund-raising activities.
